Riders wishing to be downgraded for circumstances such as long-term injuries, significant time out of the sport etc. To be re-graded from B grade to A grade a rider must earn 20 points within a 2-year period as a B grade rider. To be re-graded from C grade to B grade a rider must earn 15 C grade points within a 2-year period. These junior riders will automatically be graded as B Grade.
Īll new senior riders (including juniors’ transitioning to senior), will automatically be placed in C grade unless the junior rider finishes in the top 3 places at the NSW State Titles or the Top 10 at Junior MX Nationals.

If a senior rider wishes to apply for an upgrade prior to the assessment period you can apply for a regrading by submitting a Grading Request Form to the MNSW office. The following Motorcycling New South Wales gradings lists are currently available:Īs per the MNSW MX Bylaws seniors are allocated as A Grade, B Grade or C Grade.Īll senior grading will be assessed on June 30th and December 31st each calendar year by the subcommittee. Riders who wish to be considered for regrading at any time can email MNSW with supporting evidence (results and experience) to be forwarded on to the relevant sports committee. Subcommittees review results at open meeting competitions periodically and advise MNSW of riders who have been regraded. All new senior riders, including juniors transitioning to senior, will automatically be graded in the relevant amateur class unless they fall into the exemption category as per the discipline by-laws. The Motorcycling NSW Motocross and Road Race subcommittees are responsible for grading riders in their relevant discipline so competitors are matched with riders of similar skill level and ability.
